Ⅱ.Application Eligibility
1.Nationality Requirements:
(1)Non-Chinese citizens with a valid ordinary foreign passport.
(2)Applicants must meet the relevant regulations stipulated in the Ministry of Education's "Notice on Regulating the Enrollment of International Students by Higher Education Institutions" and other related documents.
2.General Requirements:
(1)Applicants should beunder the age of 25, be in good health (free from infectious diseases and physical or mental conditions that affect normal study), have excellent academic performance and moral character, be friendly towards China, and have no criminal record.
(2)Applicants must have completed secondary education or equivalent qualification programs and submit authentic and valid academic transcripts with no failing grades. Students who have not yet obtained a high school diploma must submit an official Pre-graduation certificate.
(3)Applicants are not permitted to simultaneously hold two or more student statuses at Chinese universities.

4.Starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, all international students applying for undergraduate programs are required to provide valid CSCA report.For exam-related information, please visit the official website: https://csca.cn.The deadline for submitting exam scores is May 31, 2026. Admitted candidates who have been admitted but have not submitted their grades are required to submit the registration proof materials for the exam no later than April 2026.Admitted candidates who fail to submit the scores by the deadline will be deemed to have waived their admission qualifications.

Note:
1.The institutional scholarship program operates on an annual review basis. This review process strictly adheres to the principles of transparency, equity, and impartiality, which incentivize students to pursue academic excellence and engage in rigorous research, thereby fostering a conducive learning environment. Candidates who fail to meet the review standards will face either revocation of scholarship eligibility or reduction in funding tier.
2.Applicants eligible for the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) are advised to apply through home country's relevant departments or the Chinese embassies/consulates abroad. For application eligibility, requirements, procedures, materials, agency codes, and types of Chinese Government Scholarship sub-programs, please consult the relevant departments in home country or the Chinese embassies/consulates. Contact information for Chinese embassies/consulates can be found on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China: https://www.fmprc.gov.cn/web/.
Application for CSC Type B has strict major restrictions; please refer to theprofessional appendix.

Note: Each program has a limited number of available quota. If the enrollment quota is filled before the deadline, the application portal may close earlier accordingly.
V. Application Procedure
Applicants must log in to the Chang'an University International Student Application System (https://is.chd.edu.cn/) to fill in the application form, submit the electronic version of application materials, and pay the application fee within the application period.
Ⅵ. Application Materials
All application materials and information provided by applicants must be authentic, accurate and fully complete. Otherwise, the applicant will be disqualified for application, enrollment or study.
1.Scanned copy of the personal information page of a valid ordinary passport.
The expiry date of the passport should be after March 1, 2027. If it does not meet the time requirement, please renew it in advance. Passport information cannot be changed before registration for enrollment.Applicants currently residing in Chinese mainland must also provide a scanned copy of the currently valid visa page or residence permit page.
2.Senior high school diploma;On-campus students should provide Pre-graduation certificate or student status certificate issued by current school.
3.Academic transcripts for all the courses in senior high school. On-campus students should submit transcripts up to the current stage.
4.Language proficiency certificates.
5.Score report of China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA).
6.A Study Plan or Research Proposal (written in Chinese or English,about 800 words).

Applicants must strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form for the medical examination and fill it out in Chinese or English. The form is invalid if any page is missing, if it lacks a photo stamped with a seam seal, or if it lacks the hospital's official stamp or the physician's signature. Please note the physical examination results are valid for 6 months. Applicants should schedule their examination accordingly.
8.Non-criminal Record Certificate.
Applicants must submit a valid Non-criminal Record Certificate issued by the local public security authorities, typically issued within 6 months prior to the application date.
9.Applicants under the age of 18 (before September 1st, 2026),the following guardian materials need to be submitted:
(1)Guardian is a Chinese citizen: upload a scanned copy of the resident ID card; financial guarantee certificate (amount no less than RMB 50,000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency).
(2)Guardian is a foreign national: Upload a scanned copy of the passport (information page); non-student residence permit(valid after January 31,2027); financial guarantee certificate (amount no less than RMB 50,000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency).
10.Applicants for self-funded programs must submit a personal financial guarantee certificate (amount no less than RMB 50,000 or an equivalent amount in foreign currency).
11.Other materials proving personal comprehensive abilities (if any) such as award certificates obtained during high school.
Notes:
1.The above application materials must be in Chinese or English, and notarized copies of translations must be provided for texts in other languages along with the original copy.
2.All application materials will be reviewed and processed through the application system (https://is.chd.edu.cn/). Please do NOT post the hard copies of the application materials or send them by email, which will NOT be reviewed and processed.

2.Payment method
(1) The application fee can only be paid on the application system.
(2) Tuition and accommodation fees are only accepted upon on-site registration; cash is not accepted.

1.Instructions for Application System
(1)Please fill in the passport name (surname and given name exactly as shown on the passport's personal information page, ensuring the correct placement of surname and given name. If the passport does not surname or given name, leave blank), passport number, and passport expiry date accordingly. (Only ordinary passports with an expiry date of March 1, 2027, or later are accepted.)
(2)Please completely fill in all educational and work experiences from high school up to the time of application in chronological order.
(3)Parent information in the "Family Information" section is mandatory.
(4)The "Guarantor in China" refers to a contact person or organization within China for matters related to the applicant during their study period in China. If unavailable, please provide the relevant information of your country's embassy or consulate in China.
2. Document Upload Requirements
(1)All uploaded materials must be color scans of the original documents (in PDF or JPG format).
(2)The "ID Photo" must be a recent, front-facing, color, bareheaded passport-style photo. (Do not upload black-and-white photos, artistic photos, selfies, or other non-standard photos).
3. Admission Process
(1)The university will review applications in batches based on the order of submission. Scholarship results will be notified via the email address registered in the application system. Applicants are advised to keep their email accessible.
(2)Scholarship recipients cannot simultaneously receive funding from other scholarship programs established by the Chinese government at any level or by Chinese universities, the institution will rigorously implement the qualification review process in strict compliance with relevant regulations.
(3)Once admitted, applicants may not request changes to student status information such as the assigned university, level of study, major, medium of instruction, or duration of study.
