On December 29, Mamadou NDIAYE, the ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to China, visited our school. The principal Sha Aimin and the vice principal Zhao Xiangmo met with the visitors in the VIP room.

Sha Aimin extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Mamadou Ndiaye and his entourage. He said that school-enterprise cooperation to train international students is a good measure for the win-win situation of schools, enterprises, and students from the country. As of the end of 2020, 102 China Road and Bridge cooperation trainees have successfully graduated. I hope that Chang'an University, China Road and Bridge, and Senegal can communicate more with each other, discuss more, sum up more experience, discuss new ideas and new plans for expanding international education cooperation, continue to deepen cooperation, complement each other's advantages, form a joint force, and jointly develop overseas students, enterprises, Select and send the country's satisfactory international talent training work. The school will continue to intensify its efforts in teaching, management and services, implement special cooperation agreements for the training of students in Serbia, and make the Chinese Government Scholarship, Xi’an “One Belt and One Road” Scholarship and the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport “China-Africa Friendship” scholarship more updated. It will benefit more outstanding students from Serbia, improve the quality of school-enterprise cooperation, and provide more outstanding talents for the development of countries along the Belt and Road including Senegal.
Zhao Xiangmo pointed out that during the epidemic, the school made every effort to prevent and control the new crown epidemic for international students at school, and effectively achieved “non-stop teaching and non-stop postponement” and meticulous management of international students on multiple campuses. Through caring condolences and practical help to ensure International students of the school are healthy, safe and stable.
Mamadou Ndiaye expressed his appreciation for the efficient management and achievements of our school’s international education, and pointed out that the cooperative relationship between my country and Serbia is solid and stable. Our school's cooperation in training international students is not only a manifestation of the close cooperation between the two parties, but also the establishment of a common vision for the future. The cooperative training of foreign students will write a new chapter in the friendship between China and Serbia.
After the meeting, Ambassador Mamadou Ndiaye and his entourage attended the sympathy symposium of Chang'an University-China Road and Bridge Cooperation in Training Senegalese International Students. The ambassador has high hopes for the 15 international students who participated in the 2017 class and encouraged them to study hard, master professional knowledge, and make contributions to the construction of the motherland. Serbian student representatives Ma Ting and Gao Fei gave speeches respectively. They said that they would cherish the opportunity to learn something and be a friendly messenger of China-Serbia exchanges, build a road of friendship and build a bridge of cooperation together.
